Kobe Children's Hospital


		Kobe Childrenﾕs Hospital (KCH) was established in 1970 as the second oldest childrenﾕs hospital in Japan, operated by Hyogo Prefectural Government (Hyogo-kenritsu). The obstetrical service was added in 1994, practicing the philosophy of a total care in the human lifecycle, caring for an individual from the fetal period to the grown-ups. Our basic policy is to provide highly integrated and advanced perinatal (before and after birth) and pediatric care, promoting the health care of pregnant women as well as the sound growth and development of infants and children in collaboration with the parents in the local community.
